About Bellwether Trade & Economics
Bellwether Trade & Economics is the independent consulting practice of Alireza Motameni, PhD — a federal economist with more than a decade of experience conducting econometric analysis inside U.S. agencies, including antidumping and countervailing duty casework at the International Trade Administration and regulatory econometrics as Senior Economist at the Postal Regulatory Commission. Bellwether takes on contract and subcontract engagements for law firms, agencies, and consultancies that need that same rigor applied to trade-remedy, regulatory-economics, policy, and expert-witness questions.
